Our Story
Mindful Diabetes Care was created with one simple goal: to help young people understand diabetes before it becomes a lifelong challenge.
Diabetes has affected people close to me, and seeing those experiences showed me how important education and awareness can be. At the same time, type 2 diabetes is becoming more common among children and teenagers. Many young people don't realize that everyday habits like eating well, staying active, getting enough sleep, and understanding their health can play an important role in lowering their risk.
That's why Mindful Diabetes Care focuses on education. Through engaging presentations and community outreach, we hope to give students the knowledge and confidence to make healthier choices for themselves, their families, and their future.
